5 Best Opponents For Sting's Retirement Match At WWE WrestleMania 32

5. Seth Rollins

The conclusion of the Night of Champions main event gives Sting a built-in story with Seth going into WrestleMania 32. If The former Shield member isn€™t going to be in the title picture or in another featured match on the card then this makes sense. Sting would logically seek revenge for Rollins putting him on the sidelines with a neck injury.

With Sting being 56 years old, it would be ideal to have him in the squared circle with a younger guy who can create some more movement around him, make The Icon look good and create a memorable match in the process.

For Sting€™s final chapter, it would be wise to go with a serious tone throughout the program leading up to The Franchise€™s last match. One complaint I€™ve heard from newer fans is that they don€™t know a lot about Sting or why they should care about him. So video packages and sit-down interviews covering his history should start to fix that.

The WWE roster doesn€™t have a lot of great heels at the moment, but Seth Rollins is one of the best, from the nuances he uses in his matches to turn the crowd against him to his mic work. Sting is a great, natural babyface and Rollins is a despised heel. It's a no-brained for WrestleMania, if all the stars align correctly.
