5 Best Options To Dethrone Shinsuke Nakamura As NXT Champion

4. Tommy End

Tommy End is yet to debut with NXT. Heck, he hasn't even made it to the Performance Center as far as I know. One of the beauties of this is that unlike other recent arrivals such as Oney Lorcan (Biff Busick), his place in the pecking order is yet to be established. End will be fresh to NXT audiences, and if the creative team want to push him strongly from the get-go they certainly can.

You could put any other name in this place who is yet to debut, but End also comes with that indy-credibility that seems to be so vital in NXT in 2016. He has long been a legitimate performer outside of WWE, starting out in Europe before heading to success in North America.

The Dutchman also has a legitimate striking background, one that may even rival Nakamura's. He is particularly renowned for his knees, and how poetic it would be for Nakamura's title reign to end at the knee of another man.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
