5 Best Wrestler/Manager Pairings In Wrestling Right Now

3. MVP & Bobby Lashley

It is not hyperbolic to say that MVP saved Bobby Lashley's WWE career.

Look, Lashley was never in any danger of being cut. Just look at him. But he seemed forever destined to flounder in the midcard after his return fell flat. Awful angles involving his sisters, an embarrassing storyline where he cucked Rusev and an okay partnering with Lio Rush seemed to have dampened any excitement around the All Mighty.

Enter MVP.

After his nostalgic return at the 2020 Royal Rumble, MVP seemed like a one and done. But due to the fact that he is one of the best mic workers in the business, he completely carved out a new career for himself as the mouthpiece of Bobby Lashley and the brains behind the awesome Hurt Business.

Creative may have made a hash of the group by splitting them up too early (before bringing them back together), but ever since MVP aligned with Lashley, the success has been fantastic. Lashley instantly became more credible, rising up the ranks and eventually claiming his first WWE Championship by slaughtering The Miz who was given a literal doomsday countdown such was Lashley's threat.

Lashley even retained the belt at WrestleMania 37 and it is telling how much he has struggled since MVP's hiatus with injury. Let's hope he returns swiftly to reignite the flame!
