5 Best Wrestler/Manager Pairings In Wrestling Right Now

2. Kenny Omega & Don Callis

Let's be perfectly honest, Kenny Omega didn't need a manager.

As one of the greatest wrestlers in the world, Omega was always destined to sit atop of All Elite Wrestling at some point in its early days, but this partnership came out of nowhere. Often, and aptly, named the 'Details Company', Omega and Callis dropped breadcrumbs of their alliance before they finally pulled the trigger on their plan.

A plan that saw fresh heel Omega dethrone Jon Moxley to become the AEW World Champion and kick open the Forbidden Door in the process. The subsequent alliance with IMPACT! has felt a little tame since that moment, but Callis' arrival also sparked the rise of the Super Elite.

Through his cunning and conniving ways, Callis eventually broke through to the Bucks, allowing them to revel in their obnoxious ways as well as bringing out a more charismatic side of the 'Best Bout Machine'.

Who can forget "Sixty-Nine me Don!"?

Callis is a heat magnet who comes across so natural on the mic. But due to his history in the business, he has been able to weave his past wonderfully into the recent rivalry with Christian Cage. With Omega likely to drop the belt to Adam Page at Full Gear, it will be interesting to see what direction that takes Omega and 'The Invisible Hand'.
