Heading into the Horror Show at Extreme Rules, we all knew that Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio's Eye For An Eye match wasn't going to be a pleasant experience. With pliers being talked about and rumours of CGI rearing its head at one point in time, it was clear WWE was trying to double down on its horror-themed PPV with a disgusting concept... and in spite of the uncomfortable nature of such a match, they went ahead with it.

The ending may not have featured any CGI - as Mysterio cradled a prop eyeball in his hands instead - but it was still as uncomfortable as many expected it to be, with Rollins' unnecessary vomiting turning some viewers off completely.

It's a shame that the company produced something as truly awful as this (that's not PG) and it's made even worse by the fact that it undercut what was shaping up to be a darn good match.

Rollins and Mysterio were putting on one hell of a show whenever they were in the ring together, leaping over each other and amazing us with their talents. And, if anything, it's a shame that we couldn't have just watched them do this for 10 -15 minutes instead. In all honesty, it would have been so much more enjoyable.
