"Hangman" Adam Page entered 2025 a bit lost, fighting with Jay White and Orange Cassidy to try to position himself back atop the food chain, but unable to find a way to get the job done.

He retired Christopher Daniels at Maximum Carnage in January and became motivated to win the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Throughout that process leading up to his eventual win of the cup over Will Ospreay at Double or Nothing, Page started to get back to being what many refer to as "the main character" of All Elite Wrestling and the top babyface.

That was a position that was in danger of being usurped from him by people like Ospreay and Swerve Strickland, but he managed to turn those competitors into allies who were instrumental in helping him defeat Jon Moxley at the biggest event of the year, All In: Texas, to once again become AEW men's world champion.

Page held the title for 134 days before losing it to Samoa Joe at Full Gear, who he had beaten the event prior and only truly lost to because of outside interference.

Hangman is finishing the year with one of the best win-loss records overall, with an over 80% success rate.
