4. Loser: Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows

There were a number of head-scratching losses at Clash of Champions, and Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows' inability to beat The New Day ranks near the top. For the second PPV in a row, The Club failed to end their opponents' long reign as WWE Tag Team Champions, and having suffered a number of losses to The New Day throughout their feud, Anderson & Gallows are now in deep, deep trouble.

The match itself was great. Easily the best match of Anderson & Gallows' WWE career thus far, the ex-NJPW duo's mean streak shone throughout. Gallows took-out Big E and Xavier Woods while Anderson mauled Kofi Kingston through the match's early stages, but The New Day found a way to fight back, and while they could've benefited from a longer time slot, few fans were left unsatisfied by the time the bell rang.

Gallows & Anderson, like Rollins, at least have an excuse for the loss. Woods' interfered to hit Anderson with Francesca II in the match's closing section, but while this might help save The Club's heat, their momentum has hit an all-time low. Now firmly established as two wrestlers who just can't get the job done between the ropes, Anderson & Gallows are in a terrible slump, and it's hard to shake the feeling that Raw's writers have burned their premier heel tag team.
