5 Biggest Winners & Losers From WWE In 2024
9. Loser: Giovanni Vinci
This list isn't ranked, but if there had to be a spot for the overall biggest loser of 2024 in WWE, Giovanni Vinci stands out as the top candidate. Ironically, it's the one thing he could actually win this year.
Out of 26 matches this year, Vinci was on the winning side a whopping two times. Those wins weren't anything to be excited about, either, as one was over Apollo Crews (also on this list) on an episode of Main Event—a show nobody watches, to the point WWE barely ever acknowledges its existence—and a tag team match from February alongside Ludwig Kaiser.
The latter was before Vinci was booted out of Imperium, where he was made to look like a complete and utter failure that Gunther and Kaiser were better off not having around, as he was more of a nuisance than a helper.
He was then missing for the next few months, only to come back with vignettes of his old gimmick from NXT that never worked the first time.
Upon returning, Vinci lost two matches to Crews immediately, being absolutely humiliated, and was promptly sent back to losing dark matches instead of remaining on television.
At no point in 2024 was Vinci to be taken seriously, and it's doubtful that will change in 2025.
