5 Biggest Winners & Losers From WWE In 2025
3. Loser: Chad Gable
It's never good to see someone like Chad Gable on a list of losers, as he doesn't deserve to be. Unfortunately, he keeps being dealt unlucky cards and being stuck in a rhythmic cycle of being overlooked and under-appreciated.
2024 was already rough with the amount of teasing that was done revolving around him being a fan favorite to win the Intercontinental Championship, only to never achieve that goal.
In 2025, he's had won of the worst win-loss records, standing at 2-13 (or an 86.7% loss statistic).
Surely, that record should be higher, right? Well, technically, it both is and it isn't, as "Chad Gable" scored two wins on WWE Speed - a show nobody watched and was eventually cancelled, but "El Grande Americano" won nine matches, including winning that WWE Speed Championship.
The problem is that he could only win by cheating while under the mask (losing as Gable to El Hijo del Vikingo and Penta, for instance) and just as the gimmick was getting red hot, he suffered a torn rotator cuff injury that has had him on the shelf since June.
His stable, American Made, disappeared for most of that time as well, and the El Grande Americano gimmick was given to Ludwig Kaiser, who has gotten over with the crowd so much better to the point that even when Gable is able to return, WWE may not want to give him that moniker back.
