2. Randy Orton

Losing to Bray Wyatt (a man allergic to winning) once is bad enough, but twice in a row? Come on, Randy. Sort your life out.

Not only did The Viper fall to The Eater of Worlds at No Mercy, but he took another pinfall loss last night. Teaming up with Kane, Orton was unable to vanquish Bray and the newly returned Luke Harper, and their thoroughly weird rivalry looks set to continue.

To be fair to him, Randy was protected in both losses. No Mercy saw the lights cut out, Harper emerge, and cause the distraction. The lights died again last night while Orton was trying to tag Kane, but The Demon had vanished when they came back on, and Bray crushed him with Sister Abigail. That gives him a couple of ready made excuses and a reason to keep chasing Wyatt, but he’s really lagging behind now.

It looked like Orton had Wyatt’s number heading into No Mercy. He had continually countered and stood up to Bray’s creepy wizard shenanigans in the build-up, but he can’t fight Wyatt and Harper alone, and Kane likely can’t help him either. The No Mercy match fell flat: here’s hoping the writers can come up with something a little more coherent for the duo going forward.
