5. Winners: The Hype Bros

Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley have spent most of their post-Draft careers farting around on SmackDown’s lower card. They’ve appeared in a handful of multi-team matches and secured a few small victories on their own, but they’ve been given nothing major to sink their teeth into. They’re bit part players in the tag scene, but that’s probably the best place for them.

Mojo is still early in his development, and his character becomes incredibly annoying after just a few minutes' exposure. His hyperactiveness almost makes Ryder seem stoic by comparison, but they’ve got decent chemistry, and they’re certainly a cut above SmackDown’s “lost” tag teams.

Speaking of which, they wrestled The Ascension last night, and their victory ensures their inclusion in Survivor Series’ 10-on-10 tag team elimination match. It’s the biggest win of their tag career thus far, and while the opposition may be questionable, it puts the Hype Bros in a good spot ahead of the PPV. Their act certainly isn’t for everyone, but Mojo and Zack are sitting comfortably below SmackDown’s elite teams at the moment: a role they’ll likely play for as long as they’re together.
