1. Loser: The Miz

The Miz has endured a constant stream of disappointment since losing the Intercontinental Title to Dolph Ziggler a few weeks ago. Barely a moment passes without further damage being dealt to his colossal ego, and after turning down an IC Title rematch last week, Miz’s misfortune continued last night.

The A-Lister’s longstanding rivalry with Daniel Bryan continued on Miz TV. Things didn’t go well for Mr. Mizanin: not only did Bryan suggest cancelling Miz TV, but he completely snubbed him from SD’s Survivor Series team. Rubbing further salt into the wound, the General Manager forced Miz and Maryse to sit and watch as Ziggler not only defended his title against Curt Hawkins, but also announced his intention to let a Raw superstar fight for the belt at SS.

In the space of 15 minutes, not only was Miz removed from the Survivor Series conversation, but also thrown out of IC Title contention. It’s nothing less than he deserves, though: Miz was hugely critical of Bryan during the segment, and why should a man who just turned down a legitimate title shot be granted another anyway?

Miz played the victim card. He claimed discrimination, and that SmackDown was full of opportunity for everyone but him. This did nothing to sway Bryan’s mind, and only dug a deeper hole for the former champion. Whatever happens next, The Miz faces an uphill battle.
