The high-flying NXT Champion impressed a more mainstream audience on Monday night. The four participants of last nights main event competed on Raw, putting on an impressive display. However, it was Adrian Neville who stole the show. Following the Monday Night Raw tag bout, Adrian Neville and his Red Arrow finisher were trending worldwide on Twitter. Logically speaking, Neville should have been at a disadvantage considering the fact that he didnt need to be pinned to lose his title. Instead, the biggest underdog of the bout was Sami Zayn -- but more on that later. For much of the contest, Tyson Kidd and Tyler Breeze teamed up to do away with both Neville and Zayn. Nevilles win was not without controversy, however. In order to retain his title, the NXT Champion was forced to pull the referee from the ring, just as Zayn was about to win the title. As he went after Neville, Zayns zeal got the best of him when he was laid out with a superkick. It was purely academic from that moment forward. Neville climbed to the top and delivered a Red Arrow on the prone Tyson Kidd. With this victory, Neville has solidified his standing as the number one guy in NXT. However, his ego will likely continue to grow as he further proves his worth.
