5 Burning Issues For WWE Raw Tonight (Oct 16)

1. Monsters Among Men

Roman Reigns Braun Strowman

Roman and Strowman go at it yet again in a sure-to-be explosive Raw main event ahead of The Shield's battle with The Miz, The Bar and the 'Monster Among Men' himself in Sunday's mega main event.

Few have had the measure of the 'Big Dog' more than Braun in 2017, with Strowman holding a win/loss record second to none against Vince McMahon's chosen one that isn't without merit even in predetermined competition.

As with their Monday and Sunday Night destruction derbies earlier this year, expect bucketfuls of disarray and disorder in this battle as a curtain-raiser for the chaos promised for the Tables, Ladders and Chairs handicap match. Strowman's been cannily reinvigorated following his demeaning defeat at the hands of Brock Lesnar, and yet another victory here might be exactly what he requires to complete his regeneration as the most terrifying threat on the entire flagship.

Despite the structure, expect the usual all-in effort to conclude Raw (or at least the section of the show the company cares about) with a mass brawl sure to be won by the heels. Because, categorically, that's all they're winning this week.
