5 Burning Issues For WWE Raw Tonight (Oct 30)

4. The Strowman

Braun Strowman might have been squashed into a cube by the trash compactor he was hurled into by his own team at Tables, Ladders and Chairs, but a fortnight or so is normally all the 'Monster Among Men' has needed to recover from the various battles with certain death he's had in the last year or so.

Still the biggest potential new star on WWE's books even after the reckless abuse of his push by Brock Lesnar at No Mercy, Braun's comeback will be greeted with a roar that surely must signal an official babyface turns after months of bouncing back the cheers to position him against lesser-loved heroes.

Strowman's reign of chaos and destruction has made him memorable in an era of of malignant indifference, in much the same way Stone Cold Steve Austin was the much-needed reality check a still-cartoonish 1996 WWE required. He's a breakout star in every sense, not just in the way he busts out of ambulances and offices alike.

Of all people, General Manager Kurt Angle could really use him right about now, but a dominant comeback for one of WWE's longer-tenured killers may drive him to distraction at the event itself...
