5 Burning Issues For WWE Raw Tonight (Oct 30)

1. A Different Angle

Just 24 hours after donning Shield attire and kicking f*ck out of his own staff, Kurt Angle was reduced to looking like an elderly relative being assisted to his seat as a family wedding as the SmackDown Live! insurgents carted him from the backstage area to face off with a jubilant Shane McMahon.

'The Money' stared hard into the eyes of the Olympic Gold Medalist, daring him to step to the blue brand at the Survivor Series following their sudden siege of the flagship show. Though constructed on featherlight foundations, it was a strong verbal shutdown to conclude a series of memorable visuals, with Angle's shock belying the fact that if he wanted, he could still snap 'Shane-O-Mac' like a twig.

His Tables, Ladders and Chairs appearance was a tale of two Kurts, with the nervy General Manager from early in the brawl betraying the rampant wrestling machine that blasted Cesaro through a table and masqueraded as Roman Reigns for the match-winning Shield Bomb. It's the latter now required for the build-up to the Thanksgiving tradition, with Angle perhaps volunteering his services amongst Raw's best and brightest for the five-on-five match itself.
