5 Early Successes Of Triple H's Run As Head Of WWE Creative (And 5 Failures)
5. Success - Exciting Returns
As mentioned on the previous entry, most of the returns have been electric.
The entire crowd exploded a few weeks ago when Braun's roar bellowed from the speakers, and the 'Monster Among Men' stormed out, shredded to the hilt, and let loose in his trademark way. There is still a way to save Braun after he significantly cooled, and the likes of Omos just haven't filled the void he left behind.
Gargano's return was treated beautifully, with Triple H ensuring that his NXT stalwart was treated like a proper star. A returning hero, he was given the time to drink it in, lay out his goals, and prove he will be a big part of the future of the company. Under Vince McMahon, 'Johnny Wrestling' would have likely been shunted onto 205 Live. (Does that still exist?)
Nobody saw Dakota Kai returning, but her alliance with Bayley and IYO SKY has been well received, if a little badly booked over the past few weeks.
The biggest success has easily been Karrion Kross, who erupted out of nowhere to decimate Drew McIntyre and make it clear to the dominant Roman Reigns that he had him in his sights. Considering the hatchet that Vince McMahon took to the former two time NXT Champion's credibility last year, having Kross return and look like a serious threat to the top of the card has been a master stroke.
There are likely more to come, and we can't wait.
