5 Great WWE Wrestlers Who Don't Fit NXT 2.0

3. Grizzled Young Veterans

There is one obvious reason as to why the Grizzled Young Veterans feel so out of place on NXT 2.0: because they were main roster ready a whole year ago!

Looking Zack Gibson and James Drake, there is little they need to develop. Gibson is easily one of the best promos in the company right now and Drake is one of the most athletic. The duo has seamless tag team offence and essentially, there is little more they can do in developmental.

While there is the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, who knows if this will still be a staple of NXT 2.0? The fate of Takeovers is up in the air, as are the likes of War Games so who knows if GYV will feature in any of the tag team plans going forward?

Following the WWE Draft, now is the perfect time to call these guys up. SmackDown is seriously lacking in tag teams so why not bring Gibson and Drake to the blue brand? Grizzled Young veterans versus The Usos... yes please!
