5 Great WWE Wrestlers Who Don't Fit NXT 2.0

4. Kyle O'Reilly

Following the departure of Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly was left rudderless. He is one of the best wrestlers in the world, however, he is now on a brand that no longer emphasises pure wrestling ability.

O'Reilly has been thrown into a strange alliance with Von Wagner which feels like putting a square peg in a round hole. The two share no chemistry and this is ultimately just a way to get over Wagner, not O'Reilly.

As stated previously, O'Reilly is an incredible wrestler. His ground game paired with his kicks makes him feel incredibly authentic. His workrate is unreal as is his endurance. This is shown in his series with Adam Cole in which the two wrestled for 40 minutes at NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver.

In terms of output, nobody can hold a candle to Kyle O'Reilly, perhaps that is why he feels so out of place. NXT 2.0 is a series of enhancement matches that does nothing to build drama or develop stories. Now is the time for the second half of reDRagon to move away from NXT and onto pastures new.
