5 Huge Predictions For Tony Khan's Important AEW Dynamite Announcement

4. ROH’s Next Main Event

While ROH might not be everybody's favourite AEW-adjacent topic, Tony Khan's other promotion is about to enter a busy period.

Khan's first ROH television tapings take place this coming weekend. ROH's new weekly show then debuts on 2 March, with Supercard Of Honor, its next pay-per-view, booked for 31 March. Assumedly, those TV tapings will house the bulk of the Supercard build, but ROH will likely retain at least a minor presence on AEW programming.

Reserving this "important announcement" slot for the Supercard main event only makes sense if Khan has an ace up his sleeve. ROH Champion Claudio Castasgnoli vs. Mark Briscoe could be that ace.

Alternatively, a contendership tournament to determine Claudio's challenge, with the bracket playing out on ROH TV, would work, though Khan would face calls of the announcement not feeling "big" or "important enough." Briscoe vs. Castasgnoli, however, is unmesswithable.
