WWE: 5 Possibilities For Stone Cold Steve Austin At Wrestlemania 30

3. To Challenge Triple H For Authority Of The WWE

Stone Cold's old rival, Triple H, has been ruling WWE with an iron fist for a while now. And though his reign started off fairly neutral, gradually himself and Stephanie have become the heels in charge, in what's known as the second coming of the McMahon-Helmsley era. One figure that's been noticeably absent through all of this is Vince McMahon. As the owner of the company and as the man-in-charge of many fan's memories, he is the only one who could challenge the King Of Kings for authority of the WWE. But what if Triple H won't step down? The idea is that Vince could come out near the end of the PPV and run down Hunter, saying he's been burying wrestlers, that he's been running the company that Vince built straight into the ground, that he is not fit to be in charge. The power hungry Triple H then lifts his sledgehammer and tells Vince that if he wants the company back, then he should come and take it. Vince replies that he's an old man and can no longer compete in bloodbaths, but since Triple H isn't giving up his power, he's hired someone to take it back for him. Glass shatters. The idea has its pros and cons. On the one hand, Triple H and Stone Cold had some excellent battles back in the Attitude Era, and many would love to see it one more time. But could it really compare to their matches back then? Both men have long since peaked, and you could argue that it would taint the memory of those matches to see one of lesser quality now. Besides this, Triple H and Stephanie have been excellent heel authority figures, arguably the best since Vince himself, and it would be a shame to remove them from screen. Still, for a short term basis, a benevolent authority figure like Vince would be a welcome change. Hell, why not even have Stone Cold as the authority figure? He did it before as Co-General Manager of Raw, and it's always funny to see Austin in authority.
