WWE: 5 Possibilities For Stone Cold Steve Austin At Wrestlemania 30
2. To Challenge The Streak At Wrestlemania 31
Undertaker's unbeaten streak at Wrestlemania is it's own attraction. Even if there were no other worthwhile matches on the Wrestlemania card, people would still watch if The Undertaker was competing. It's become a seasonal thing to WWE fans. Undertaker is to March and April what Santa Claus is to December. Wrestlemania is like Christmas, and Undertaker is like some really weird Santa. Is that clear enough yet?? While Undertaker and Austin have had a storied history, the two have never faced off against each other at a Wrestlemania. To many, this seems like a glaring oversight, and one that should be remedied. There's no denying that, were it to happen, the audience reaction would be deafening. The two might be older and more battered than they were when they last locked heads (which was in 2001, by the way), but both of them haven't lost a step in the big-match scenario, and were they to go at it, they could put on a show. Personally, I don't think it's that likely. The time for this was a decade ago, not in 2015. Also, putting Austin's physical condition aside for now, 'Taker is getting older. His match with Brock Lesnar this year is expected to take a heavy toll on his body, and many are speculating that this could be his last match. But if it isn't, there are more viable opponents than Stone Cold, with Sting coming easily to mind. The rumour mill at WWE has been turning more than ever lately regarding The Icon, and a dream match pitting him against The Undertaker next year is a prospect that has many fans salivating. However, there is one dream match that fans wish would happen even more...
