2. Matt Hardy/Kane/Lita
Matt Hardy and Lita (a real-life couple at the time) were involved in a threeway romance story that was as tasteless as it was strange.
The angle featured 'The Big Red Machine' both kidnapping and ultimately impregnating the future WWE Hall of Famer. Oddly enough, there was never a storyline reason given as to why Kane's character wasn't simply arrested for sexual assault.
Instead of going to prison, Kane challenged Hardy for Lita's hand in marriage, in a 'Til Death Do Us Part' match; a contest Kane would ultimately win.
The story continued with Lita marrying the man who kidnapped and assaulted her. Of course, this is both odd and extremely creepy.
However, things got even weirder when Lita eventually decided to willingly join forces with the man who put her through hell. She would do so to get revenge on Snitzky, who was responsible for her miscarriage, after unintentionally injuring the former Team Extreme member on RAW.
