5 Most Insane Things Happening In Wrestling Right Now (Dec 7)

1. Becky Lynch Has Twitter Crown STOLEN

Becky Lynch once used Twitter as her personal torture chamber; incinerating the likes of Seth Rollins for his cringeworthy attire, Lana for setting back the Women's Revolution about 10 years, and Ronda Rousey for her incredibly strange patter, The Man, for a brief time, was better than Dril on the Nazi-infested social media platform. Sadly, those days are over, for there is a new King of Twitter now.

Long live Matthew Palmer, the husband of Ember Moon.

Perennial victim Natalya - when was the last time sh*t wasn't kicked out of her? - got the sh*t kicked out of her on RAW, and was replaced in the main event by Ember Moon. This must have posed something of a dilemma.

She was due to headline the flagship show.

That's good!

She was due to headline the flagship in a match against Nia Jax.

That's bad.

She had Ronda Rousey in her corner.

That's good!

Tamina is also cursed.

That's bad.

Fearing for his wife's safety, Palmer tweeted the following: "Hope this unsafe moron doesn't hurt my wife again."

That's good!

What's insane about this quickly-deleted tweet, other than the fact that Palmer may have jeopardised his wife's career, is that Ember wasn't a known victim of Nia's general oafishness. Nia Jax is hurting people we don't know about in addition to hurting literally every other woman on the roster, which we did know about. There's a subtext here, too; away from the so-called brotherhood, in which wrestlers publicly leap to one another's defence, Ember has seemingly complained about Nia in the privacy of the marital home.

Maybe WWE, as WWE does, can capitalise on this by booking Nia Jax Vs. Matthew Palmer. On some Indy. Where Nia can then stay, and learn how to, you know, wrestle at her level.
