Jesus Christ, did the worst era of pro wrestling commentary plummet to new, unlistenable depths on Monday Night RAW. JBL confusing Apollo Crews for Shelton Benjamin wasn't the worst moment of the week, Christ almighty.

During the Kurt Angle Vs. Baron Corbin match, Renee Young confounded her critics by playing off Corey Graves' shtick with a witty retort. "If he's carving himself into the annals of WWE history, he's doing it with a plastic fork". A solid 5 on the Heenan-to-Striker scale, this wasn't half-bad. Graves destroyed her renewed confidence by giving her an absolute b*llocking for going off-topic. He ripped her to shreds for referring to Angle as an "American hero" apropos of nothing.

"What the hell does that have to do with anything?" Graves raged. "Renee, stop - can I finish my thought here? You're killing me."

That "thought" was Graves claiming that WWE was sh*te before WWE told us it was sh*te because Baron Corbin ruined it.

Not the only time Graves has required an intervention...

On the subject of Kurt Angle, get a load of f*cking this: he, per Dave Meltzer, replaced Zack Ryder in a last minute change to the Royal Rumble. He was there, so why not? WWE didn't bother rejigging the layout. A company legend and one of its greatest-ever in-ring talents, we're talking top three, was considered synonymous with the guy they pushed offstage in a wheelchair.

Angle can't go any more, we know that, but it comes to something when WWE is even burying part-time legends these days.
