2. Is Nia Jax For Real?

We need to delete social media. We all need to delete social media, is the lesson here. Even if it has only illuminated and not exacerbated a dark and festering world, we all need to delete social media because the migraines are so very painful.

Nia Jax gave everybody a headache recently, this time by not punching us full-force in the face, which marks a rare improvement. No, she recently shot (without a gun in her hand, thank f*ck) on her company's social media team.

Now, she made a salient point. No women of colour were celebrated in the post, which is strange, since Asuka, Naomi and Ember Moon enjoyed much better kayfabe years than the IIconics. It's also not strange, because if ever there were an institutionally racist company not named the police, it is WWE, helmed by Vince "Can you spic it up some?" McMahon.

What did the IIconics do, exactly, to warrant such praise? What they didn't do was recklessly injure their fellow colleagues, thereby ruining one of the biggest matches of the year. They also didn't cut abysmal promos, hurt about four other people, and generally not do anything to improve themselves beyond the level of "cringeworthy liability". Good point, but not the person to make it. At all.

The only thing Nia "brought" in 2018 was a knife to a play fight.
