5 Most Insane Things Happening In Wrestling Right Now (Sept 21)

1. Vince McMahon Injury Update!

After last week's shocking headbutt bloodbath - well, a trickle, but by 2017 standards it was intense - WWE waited a full week to provide an update on Vince McMahon's medical condition. After Kevin Owens planted him square in the b*stard forehead, and delivered a frog splash, it was revealed that McMahon...suffered three fractured ribs.

One of two things has happened here.

1) WWE is trying to have its cake and eat it too by running a blatant concussion angle without actually using the dreaded, bad publicity-generating 'C' word itself.

2) Vince McMahon is so afraid of showing weakness that he refused to really put the sell-job over in the aftermath.

Either scenario only serves to dilute the impact...which is probably why the real story isn't Kevin Owen's sociopathic bada** behaviour, but just how rock f*cking solid the McMahon family is. Case in point: Shane McMahon condemned Kevin Owens to hell on Tuesday. "Condemned". He's not a f*cking executioner. Stephanie McMahon didn't make a further appearance on this week's episode. She appeared last week merely to make herself look tough under the pretence of conveying the seriousness of the situation.
