5 Positives & 5 Negatives From WWE Royal Rumble 2016

Positives...

5. Use Of Surprise Rumble Participants

There were only arguably 3 entrants that were considered surprises. AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, and Triple H all delivered and were among the highlights of this year's Royal Rumble. AJ Styles made his much anticipated WWE debut, Sami Zayn made his presence felt by eliminating Kevin Owens and renewing their rivalry, and Triple H can add his name to the list of Royal Rumble winners (John Cena in 2008, Edge in 2010) that have won the match while entering as a surprise. WWE was very efficient in its use of surprises this year and it put even more emphasis on the unpredictability of the match while showcasing that the unknown entrants aren't always just for laughs.
