5 Positives & 5 Negatives For WWE From Donald Trump's Election Victory

7. Negative: WWE Becomes Even More Desperate In Attempt To Gain Acceptance

Donald Trump Vince McMahon
WWE

Knowing that WWE now has an archive of footage of the future President of the United States involved in the world of WWE, Vince McMahon has to be ecstatic. Their history is a large reason why the McMahon family donated to Trump's campaign in the first place.

Once Trump becomes President, it's very possible that WWE will begin re-running segments ad nauseum that involve Trump in WWE. Plastering Trump's image and likeness all over WWE's television network is a desperate, yet foreseeable, way that WWE would think it could increase it's credibility. After all, if WWE was good enough for the President of the United States to take part in, it should be good enough for the entire country to embrace.

If it's one thing WWE knows how to do, it's how to take an idea and promote it into the ground. Tout, Twitter, Susan G. Komen, and Connor's Cure are all examples of platforms the company has gotten behind that fans could not escape, no matter if they wanted to or not. In 2017, Donald Trump' past WWE appearances may be the next thing WWE fans are unable to get away from.
