It also stands to reason that the League of Nations being at the Authority's beck and call makes one of them a suitable opponent for Reigns' buddy Ambrose. Rusev is actually a perfect choice in this scenario, because it combines some of WWE's poorest habits: presenting Ambrose as a caricature of a filterless crazy person, and emasculating Rusev by portraying real-life fiance Lana as promiscuous. You can almost see this playing out by having Ambrose call Rusev everything short of 'eunuch', and probably even put the moves on Lana himself. Then Rusev naturally becomes enraged at this impudent act and hits back at Ambrose. Ta da, insta-feud! Then Ambrose can win while Lana makes googly eyes at the untamed and unkempt rebel, just to further the cuckolding of a talented Rusev, who had the gall to propose to the love of his life outside the ring. The match would probably be a fun brawl given time, though.
