5 Reasons Why Bray Wyatt And Chris Jericho's Feud Is A Failure (So Far)

2. This Feud Should Involve MUCH More Of Chris Jericho Delving Into The Pain Apparent In His Career

Bray Wyatt's entire gimmick is built upon the notion of making his opponents face truths about themselves that are painful for them to handle, thus disorienting them and making them theoretically easier to defeat. Imagine instead of just straight up defeating Bray Wyatt at WWE Battleground if Jericho had instead cut a promo delving into his own early career doubts. Furthermore, perhaps potentially bringing up the shame of Wyatt calling himself "Husky Harris" in order to hide the shame of being a Wyatt and carrying a childhood defined by a lack of love and affection from his sister Abigail could be poignant, too. Chris Jericho talking about his time in WCW, or his early WWE days as other periods where he had career doubts and then rising to meet those concerns could create a revised fiery babyface persona for Jericho that could make for more compelling matches with a more ingrained dramatic hook.
