5 Reasons Daniel Bryan Should Face Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 31

1. Bryan Vs. Lesnar Is The Better Match With The Better Story

Through all the reasons and all the judgement calls of who is the better choice, the end result comes down to the better match doesn't it? The plans in place might be flawless, but isn't the actual in ring product everything? This issue with this match is Lesnar has been built as the most dominant wrestler of all time. His style is total brutality, physical dominance and epic natural ability. The issue with the John Cena feud was it wasn't realistic to believe that Cena could physically best Lesnar. Cena kept trying to out fight and out brawl Lesnar which is a ludicrous idea. Roman Reigns' strengths are too similar to Lesnar. Their match would be a brawl and a straightforward power match-up which may look great for Reigns in terms of story, but it would fail to meet that sense of reality. Reigns overpowering The Beast for the title at Wrestlemania 31 is a great story of ascension. Daniel Bryan overcoming The Beast for the title at Wrestlemania 31 is a better story of redemption. Overpowering Brock Lesnar isn't realistic, but out wrestling him is. No one has really taken Lesnar to the ground, or used their speed to try to defeat him. CM Punk came the closest by doing just that, and they had one of the best matches of the year in 2013. It was certainly Lesnar's best match since his return. Daniel Bryan would be able to offer this kind of match with Lesnar. He can use his submissions, flying offense and speed to overcome Lesnar. It would make sense in terms of the fight as well. Roman Reigns is never going to submit Lesnar, but Bryan could. Imagine Daniel Bryan submitting Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31 after Lesnar dominated WWE for over a year. Bryan vs. Lesnar is a better match technically and it tells a better story because Daniel Bryan makes it that way. Reigns can be the one to take it off Bryan, but Daniel Bryan is the only one who can handle defeating Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31.
