5 Reasons Daniel Bryan Should Face Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 31
2. Roman Reigns Has Time To Wait
Speaking of time, what is the rush when it comes to Roman Reigns? It is understandable to capitalize on Lesnar's dominance to build the next big star. It is a great idea. It is best for business. What is questionable is why Reign's ascension has to come so quickly. He has less experience, isn't as over as the top guy should be and he has the time to develop these things. Stone Cold Steve Austin just said the exact same thing today. Lesnar is the big time. Why push someone when they have the time to develop further? Roman Reigns is young. Both in age and in the business. Yes, Reigns is already very good. He is as natural a talent as there is, but why rush him to the top before everyone knows that he is ready? He has time to develop his ring work, microphone ability and connection with the fans. All of which need attention before everyone will agree that it is time for Roman Reigns to ascend. It isn't necessarily that Daniel Bryan is better at any of these things, but he has the experience and understanding to prove that he is the safer choice when it comes to taking on one of the biggest victories in wrestling history. The win is the biggest booking risk maybe ever. Would you rather risk it on a very natural and good young talent who may not understand how to use it properly, or a fifteen year veteran that is at the peak of their career? Bryan's neck is a concern, but everyone eventually has big injuries in wrestling. That's no reason to risk everything on a young talent.
