5 Reasons Dean Ambrose Is The Next Stone Cold Steve Austin
5. He Needs Better Ring Gear
Stone Cold didnt have fancy or avant-garde ring gear. His wrestling gear was plain as hell, but he pulled it off. Dean Ambroses wrestling gear seems like a desperate plea from WWE to their audience please believe this guy is an outlaw. Dean Ambrose doesnt need to wrestle in jeans and a wife beater to come across as edgy; he is edgy, and he will be in any gear hes wearing. Thats just one of the reasons why Dean Ambrose could spring for some more traditional wrestling gear. That and the fact that Dean Ambroses current ring gear is absolutely awful. Theres simply something about a guy that wrestles in jeans and a tank top that screams dont take me seriously. Take into account that Luke Harper basically wrestles in the exact same outfit and its hard to make an argument to the contrary. Luckily for him, all the former Shield members have terrible gear right now (see Roman Reigns laser tag outfit and Seth Rollins X-Men suit) so he doesnt look much worse by comparison. His gear will do for now, but it has to go at some point in the near future. His current ring gear as his civilian attire is actually pretty cool (much like Stone Colds classic jean shorts and t-shirt) and would be bad ass to see him wearing when he ambushes somebody from behind or arrives unannounced to make his presence felt, but when he comes out to the ring for a wrestling match, for the love of god, get some wrestling trunks. At the very least take the tank top off to differentiate from Luke Harper.
