5 Reasons Neville Wants To Quit WWE

3. The Blossoming UK Scene

Neville clearly isn't a Brock Lesnar type, a home bird incompatible with the rigour of WWE's intense touring schedule; he ostensibly migrated to Japan before signing with WWE in an astute drive to become one of the most gifted technicians on the planet.

Still, the prospect of taking in his beloved Newcastle United on the regular may have swayed his decision; Rafa Benitez's outfit is a defensive rock on which some of the slickest and most incisive Premier League passers stand. Facetiousness aside, the UK wrestling scene is among the hottest and most fruitful on the planet right now. There are several groups and talents (Travis Banks, Mark Haskins, Pastor William Eaver) Neville would revel in working alongside - but as importantly, there is genuine money to be made on this isle. Neville would arrive with an organic elder statesman, groundbreaker gimmick - a transposition of his King role, but one received with the appropriate respect from his home countrymen. This appreciation is crucial to the drive of a performer.

Neville as PAC paid his dues in grim social clubs and leisure centres. He didn't build this new progressive, defiant British kingdom - but wouldn't he generate massive heat, if he claimed to?
