5 Reasons Not To Cheer For John Cena's WWE Return

4. He Could Overshadow Or Delay Seth Rollins's Return

John Cena isn't the only top star who's on his way back to action soon. Seth Rollins was reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion when he suffered a knee injury last November, forcing him to give up the title. In recent weeks, rumors have swirled that Rollins is getting closer and closer to a comeback, and while he's still probably got at least a month to go, it's all but guaranteed that he'll be a huge babyface upon his return.

The problem with that is that WWE will already have two huge babyfaces above him in the pecking order - Roman Reigns and Cena. Rollins carried the top of WWE's card in terms of match quality last year, and he deserves better than being relegated to third-tier status. WWE may decide to keep Rollins as a heel so he can continue his excellence at the top of the card, but that would greatly injure the momentum of his return.

WWE could also decide to simply hold Rollins's return off until Cena has gotten comfortable in the active roster. The company typically likes to focus on one major storyline at a time, so it wouldn't be a huge shock if a healthy Rollins is held out until July just so his comeback and Cena's don't overlap. It would be a shame for the fans, though, if Rollins was kept out any longer than necessary.
