5 Reasons Shinsuke Nakamura Will Never Win The WWE Title
1. Vince McMahon Just Doesn't Get It
The mannerisms, the facial expressions, the attire, the signature pose, Good Vibrations in the corner, the strikes; it's just seems that Vince McMahon is struggling to see why Shinsuke Nakamura is such a special performer and somebody who is deserving of holding the prestigious WWE Championship.
While we're here, something as simple as labelling Nakamura 'The Artist' also shows that Vince McMahon doesn't know the difference between Prince, the original Artist, and Michael Jackson, who heavily influenced the 'King Of Strong Style'.
Judging by his successful run in NXT, Triple H is on board with Nakamura, but it looks like he's been lost in translation when it comes to those on the main roster. 'The Game' famously went to bat for Kevin Owens and played a huge role in 'The Prizefighter' becoming WWE Universal Champion against all the odds.
Owens bucked the trend. He's a performer Vince McMahon traditionally isn't interested in. So why does it seem Nakamura, a darling of the internet crowd, is unlikely to do the same at this stage?
The petty part of McMahon's character that wants to see those who were cornerstones elsewhere humbled and made to look weaker than his homegrown talent could still live on. Of course, AJ Styles would count against that argument but the track record is there and could be the trigger for Shinsuke Nakamura never amounting to the levels we all predicted he would.
It's hard to forget that Nakamura has only been a main roster WWE Superstar for around five months to this point. A lot of his journey is still to play out. There's no denying that his start to life on the big stage has been underwhelming. Let's hope for all our sakes his boss realises how special he is and utilises him correctly. As things stand though, there's no way Shinsuke Nakamura will win the WWE Championship.
