5 Reasons WWE Fastlane Will Be Hard To Top As The Worst Event Of 2015

2. Undercard = Uninspiring

One of the biggest problems WWE has is overexposure of matchups. With so many hours of programming to fill we wind up seeing the same bouts repeatedly, so much so that we're tired of them long before they stop happening. The tag team title match is a perfect example of this. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd should make great opponents for The Usos, a team who've been struggling to find credible challengers due to the lack of depth in the division. This match should have been a big deal. Instead we've already seen various combinations square off over the last two weeks, siphoning off any semblance of specialness that it could have had. The six-man tag was boring and no one cared because three of the six guys are completely heatless, the divas match was a bathroom break (a problem WWE has cultivated themselves), they've gone out of their way to kill off any momentum Dean Ambrose ever had and Cena/Rusev was an obvious setup for Mania. There just wasn't a reason to be invested in this card beyond the main event.
