5 Reasons WWE Should Sign Samoa Joe (And 4 Reasons They Shouldn't)

1. Being A Talented Worker Means More Than Anything Else

What means more than anything in wrestling? Talent. Sometimes the best thing WWE can do is forget about the factors like age, body type and history in other places and simply look at how good a guy is in the ring or on the microphone. Joe is the complete package. It's easy to point at the flaws of wrestlers. Even the best guys ever like Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair were probably labelled as "too short" far too often in their careers when it doesn't really matter considering how great they were at everything else. In Joe's case, look at his body of work. He's had hundreds of matches against all kinds of opponents and proven that he can have great matches with just about anybody. The fact that he could hang with Kurt Angle in his prime back in 2006 shows that he can truly perform at a high level. He's also had great matches other top wrestlers of the past 15 years like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles and so many others. If you can compete on a high level with the best in the business then you absolutely belong. There are guys in WWE that can vouch for how good he is in the ring, especially Bryan. They had several classic matches in Ring of Honor over a decade ago. That was when they were in their 20s and still learning the business. The more you wrestle, the better you are and the more you can do in the ring in terms of telling a story. What WWE needs to do is focus on what Joe can bring to the table, allow him to truly show that and worry less about the other things. Watch the man work. He has talent. Let him show what he can do.
