Corey talks about how this return will bring about exposure to an entirely new generation of fans who aren't familiar with Kurt's work and the legacy he's built. He wants to know how important that legacy is to Angle and what it means to him to be able to add onto it.

Angle replies that he doesn't want to be someone who the fans look back on and say "If only that guy would have stayed out of trouble, he'd be the greatest of all-time." He says that it's good to be back home and regardless of what he does going forward, he can mark his legacy as the greatest of all-time.

Clearly Angle still thinks highly of himself - and he should - and him cleaning up an remaining with WWE rather than leaving for TNA will always be one of the biggest "what ifs?" in wrestling history. He was an amazing worker and all-around performer and had he not succumbed to his personal demons he'd likely be held in the same regard as Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair.
