5 Things WWE Should NOT Do With New Universal Champion Braun Strowman (& 5 Things They Should)
1. SHOULD NOT - Book Him As A Transitional Champion
Braun Strowman had received many opportunities to win the Universal Championship in the past. He fought against Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns 'n' number of times, only to fall short on every occasion. The reigning Universal Champion even held the Money in the Bank contract once. Still, he could not win the world title.
The fans have always been behind him, and now that he has finally won the most prestigious title on SmackDown, WWE should not book him like a transitional champion. Almost everyone knows that 'The Big Dog' was going to win the belt from Goldberg, and if Strowman loses the title to someone else soon after capturing it, he may become a big joke.
The Creative team has invested much time in building 'The Monster Among Men' as a credible Superstar. Now, if the organization proves that the former Wyatt Family reached at the helm of the Blue brand just because Roman was absent and not because he deserved it, there is a possibility that the audience loses its confidence in Strowman. The booking team should give him a lengthy reign.
