5 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Rampage (Dec 3)

Ups...

5. Some Nice Build

Jade Cargill Thunder Rosa
AEW

AEW are doing a fantastic job of building up Jade Cargill as a star-in-the-making. This week, she squashed Janai Kai in minutes, and then brawled with Thunder Rosa when she tried to take liberties with Rosa's trainee post-match. The fans were up for that pull-apart, which is encouraging.

Thunder did well on commentary, and the entire segment acted as a neat prelude to the impending TBS Title Tournament semi final between both women. Compare this, squash and all, to the pie-related sh*te WWE are doing with Charlotte Flair and Toni Storm on SmackDown.

It's night and day.

Some people won't like that comparison between both promotions, but it's true. AEW showed the way here by developing aggression between Rosa and Cargill without eating up too much time. That, surely, is all wrestling fans want from feuds - straightforward booking.
