5 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Rampage (Dec 3)

Down...

1. Maybe Don’t Hurt Yourself?

Sammy Guevara
AEW

Only one negative to report, but it's worth mentioning.

Sammy Guevara flip-flopped between selling his ribs during the opener to...forgetting that he was supposed to sell his ribs. Was there really any need for Guevara to perform moonsaults, flips and other dives when he's meant to be banged up? That's poor psychology, and it took away from his match with Tony Nese.

The Inner Circle man even kipped up at one point! Christ knows what he was thinking there - after doing so, Guevara suddenly remembered that the ribs were taped. Too late, mate. The agent in charge of putting this match together should've deleted those spots and focused on simplicity.

Is this a minor complaint? Sure, and yet it annoyed this fan. The commentary team were doing a fine job of explaining the pain Sammy must've been in (both with his ribs and his leg), and there he was flying around the place like 1996 Rey Mysterio.
