5 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 15)

5. That Makes No Sense

Adam Pearce
WWE

Riddle us this: Adam Pearce essentially replaced Dominik Mysterio last week with Bobby Lashley to give Team Raw a more lethal team with a better chance of winning at Survivor Series.

While it makes no sense that Pearce, a WWE official on both Raw and SmackDown, would prefer one team over another, you can just throw logic out and let that go for a second. However, if you were to accept that, what happened Monday night makes even less sense.

Rey Mysterio confronted Pearce about setting his son up and going back on his word, so Scrap Iron put Rey into a match against Lashley later that night. Now, keep in mind that Mysterio and Lashley are both on the Raw Survivor Series team that Pearce apparently is invested in seeing perform well at the PPV.

So why would you put two men on the same team in a match against each other six days before the PPV? If Lashley hurts Rey, he’s out of the match. Oh wait…

Nevertheless, it just makes your head hurt trying to follow WWE “logic.”
