5 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Aug 20)

Ups...

5. Jurassic Express Advances

Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy are arguably the only team left in the Eliminator tourney who are worthy enough to challenge The Young Bucks come All Out. Therefore, Jurassic Express beating Private Party made sense on Rampage; The Varsity Blonds and Lucha Bros will battle it out on Dynamite to earn the other spot in the final.

Regardless of who wins, the Express must roll on.

Sometimes, the popular result is the right result, and this was evidence of that. It was a balls-to-the-wall spotfest at times, but the live crowd in Chicago ate it up, and everyone knows that's Party's deal by now anyway. The most important thing was always going to be that JB and Luchasaurus came out on top.

They did, then the pair stared down 'dem Jackson boys on the stage. People can question the purpose of this tournament when everyone can see the winners coming, but it's not a duff way to build new challengers up. Express have more credibility if they keep racking up wins.
