5 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sep 17)

2. New Challenger

Sammy Guevara TNT Title
AEW

Then, AEW nimbly moved on from Fuego by cementing Miro's next challenge.

Miro attacked Del Sol post-match, and even shoved the man's own car keys in his mouth. That brought out a rampaging (ahem) Sammy Guevara for the save. Again, like they had for the finish to the opening tag-team match, the live crowd popped big for Sammy. Chris Jericho also lost his mind on commentary.

Guevara vs. Miro could be a sleeper hit come Full Gear in November, people. It has all the ingredients to be a successful feud; Miro battered Sammy's mate, Guevara showed he could match up against bigger dudes during the Inner Circle vs. Pinnacle feud, and yeah, they're just gonna have an excellent match or two.

Hopefully, AEW don't forget about Del Sol though. He could be incorporated into the story by way of another beatdown from the champ. Or, maybe Miro could put Fuego out with a kayfabe injury before he returns and helps Sammy win the TNT prize months from now.

Just a suggestion.
