5 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sep 17)

1. Shoot From The Hip, Ladies!

Ruby Soho Britt Baker
AEW

AEW's landscape is about to witness another banger in the women's division.

Maybe "banger" is a poor choice of words. Or, maybe it's not considering Ruby Soho told Britt Baker that the reigning champ's just like every other woman she's wrestled - she's "entitled and banging some guy in the back". Ooft! Adam Cole, baby! Shots fired there.

Britt roared back with one of her own by noting Ruby's 'Runaway' nickname and then saying, "You didn't run away from anything, Ruby - you got fired". Score one for the WWE references (albeit without actually saying the promotion's name or getting too critical of them). This face-to-face left everyone around ringside begging to see their match.

That's positive. Now, AEW have a decision to make. Do they stick by Baker, who has been phenomenal in her role since heading up the division? Or, do they put all their chips on Soho's table and avoid a loss this early into her All Elite run?

Decisions, decisions, but this was awesome promo work.
