2. Mix Into The Fold

After some hype in the last couple of weeks, we were treated this week to the Impact debut of Ace Austin. The newcomer put away Jake Atlas in fairly dominant fashion, ending the match with his running blockbuster dubbed The Fold. While it was a fine enough showing, just how is he going to fit into the X Division (assuming that's where he'll be in the long run)?

The division already has an abundance of talented stars, some of whom don't get used as well as they could (see Ethan Page). There's a high chance that within a few weeks, Austin could simply be another face on the roster. Unless Impact do end up utilising him to the best of their ability, it just doesn't seem likely that he'll become a big name while he's here.

Ace looks as if he could be something really special if given the correct opportunity. Impact can't afford to mess him up while they've got him.
