5 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Mar 8)
3. Bordeaux Stands Up
This week's episode of Impact aired on International Women's Day, something the company tried to use to their advantage in a somewhat perverse way. Scarlett Bordeaux's time in Impact has been a bit of a letdown to say the least but following her actions this week, it seems as if this gimmick can actually have its good moments.
Glenn Gilbertti made some comments towards women's wrestling, resulting in a jab to the face from Bordeaux and a challenge of sorts for a future one on one match. Is it what any of us expected to see in 2019? Perhaps not. The main thing to take away from this though is the sort of reaction it's created. It gets people talking about Scarlett in a positive manner, something that hasn't been possible since she debuted in reality because she hasn't really done anything that noteworthy.
We had to sit through pointless segment after pointless segment from The Smokeshow, as well as wait for her to unveil herself as the winner of her own talent search. But at last, this is something worth speaking about from one Scarlett Bordeaux.
