Bludgeon them, big man!

Is Erick Redbeard the kind of needle-moving star who will reinvent AEW's wheel? Hardly, but he did act as a nice surprise on this past Friday's Rampage. The former WWE man, who has made All Elite cameos before, stormed out to help PAC and Penta fend off Malakai Black's 'House Of Black'.

Later, All Elite announced that Redbeard will team with his new pals against Malakai, Buddy Matthews and Brody King during Revolution's Buy-In. That's fine - that's a good spot for a six-man tag like this one, and it'll act as a fun preview of the mayhem to come on pay-per-view.

It was just rather nice to see Erick 'Don't Call Him Rowan' Redbeard on Rampage too. His return is the kind of surprise that helps the show gain traction on social media, which is also welcome right before a huge pay-per-view like Revolution.
